Trustees / Board Members

Mr. Maykrantz serves as the President of St. John Properties. He oversees day-to-day functions of St. John Properties, with specific responsibilities including all phases of development, asset management, marketing, leasing and financial operations. Mr. Maykrantz holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, an M.B.A. from the University of Baltimore, and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Maryland.

Ms. Akers is the Executive Director of Special Projects for St. John Properties where she oversees the company’s corporate outreach including involvement in and sponsorship of activities that support local communities. Ms. Akers also manages the day-to-day functions of the Edward St. John Foundation as President, dedicated to supporting and assisting formal education programs. Ms. Akers earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland College of Journalism with Specialty Certification in Public Relation. She also serves on the Board of Trustees for the University of Maryland College Park Foundation, University of Maryland Medical System R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma, Johns Hopkins Heart & Vascular Institute, Johns Hopkins Greenberg Bladder Cancer Institute, and McDonogh School Strategic Planning Committee.

Ms. St. John serves as Vice President and Chair of the Edward St. John Foundation.

Ms. Rice is the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for St. John Properties where she oversees the company’s accounting and financial reporting activities for the company’s real estate portfolio. Ms. Rice earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Mount St. Mary’s College and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Maryland.
